Nordstrom Rack

Don’t you just love when you get an email about a sale and then you can’t get your mind off it?!

That is exactly what happened to me. I was going through my emails and I came across a Nordstrom Rack email letting me know they were ready for Valentine’s Day. I was planning on cleaning on my day off BUT that all changed with that one email…

I had the best time going through Nordstrom Rack! I found so many adorable things and these were two of my favorites! Both of these shirts have little white hearts on them….perfect for a casual Valentines Day!

The Alana Heart Pattered Button Front Shirt is adorable in red but if red isn’t your color they have it in white with black hearts and blue with red hearts.

This cute Socialite, tie front long sleeve blouse is also adorable for a casual Valentines Day look and comes in multiple colors

Soft long sleeve t-shirt

Isn’t it the best feeling when you slip on a shirt that is so soft you feel like your wearing jammies?! I found a shirt that is just that soft, it is another great Wal-Mart find for less than $11.00.

It was the perfect shirt to wear while volunteering with one of my sons for YMSL (Young Men’s Service League). It is a true honor to spend the day with my son while helping others in our community.

This shirt comes in other colors and is less than $11.00

Young Men’s Service League is a non-profit organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships.

Young Men’s Service League, Inc has a National Board of Directors which governs and promotes the expansion of YMSL Chapters throughout the United States to allow young men and their mothers to assist, serve, and support those who are in need in their communities. YMSL members have served over 100,000 community service hours since the organization was formed in 2001.

YMSL History

YMSL was founded by Pam and Julie Rosener who envisioned an organization that would allow mothers and their high school aged sons to work together in support of those in need within the community. They recruited other interested mothers who shared their vision and turned that dream into the reality that is now YMSL.

The initial YMSL chapter is in Plano, Texas , where Pam and Julie worked with other empowered mothers and sons to create a highly successful philanthropic and developmental organization for young men and their mothers.

Chambray love

I have been looking for years for the perfect chambray button up. I wanted the right color denim, the right length, and something not to thick and bulky…..I found it! Target did it again with the perfect Chambray shirt and it is on clearance for $9.99.

Sundays are for Snuggling

I have to admit, it is cold here in Texas and although I am an Ohio girl, I am not a fan of getting out in the cold. So…. today is an inside day snuggling with our youngest who is always up for hanging with her mama!

This adorable long sleeve t-shirt is perfect for a day home relaxing. I have it on with a pair of yoga pants because lets be honest… what’s better than a soft comfy pair of yoga pants!

Amazon for the WIN!!

I am in love with this Black and Cream Women’s Plaid Flannel Long Sleeve Shirt I got on Amazon.

I thought I would share one of my favorite Amazon finds. This soft flannel goes with just about anything. I love a shirt you can mix and match. I think my family is sick of seeing me in it but I keep finding new ways to wear it!

Sweater Weather

I stocked up on some cute sweaters for not only me but for Cissy as well. This adorable cable-knit sweater is on Sale for $12.00 at Kohls. I order them online and they arrived in 4 days. The Sweater comes in blocked colors and solid colors as well..

This fuzzy SUPER soft sweater I got at Target
is like wearing a blanket . I am in love with it and it is only $12.59!

I paired the sweater with a pair of burgundy jeans to give it a pop of color.

Mama Needs Coffee

This mama always needs coffee! When I found this adorable t-shirt at target I couldn’t resist getting it! It is soft and hangs slightly longer in the back which is great if your wanting to wear it with yoga pants.

RED HOT Jeans

I’m going into this weekend full force and full of color with my RED Target jeans. You can get your own pair of these hot red jeans, I promise, they will make you feel happy too!

Red has always been my favorite color and I LOVE wearing it!

You can change the whole look of this cute outfit by adding a jean jacket or vest. For me, the more color the better!

I got a deal!

Cissy and I were at Walmart and I found these Camo pants for $3.00. $3.00! I grabbed them and got a casual white long sleeve tee for less then $10.00 to wear with them. The best part, I can wear this to work and then dress it down a bit for all the after school activities.
