St. Patrick’s Day Dive Bar T-Shirt

Yay, it came! Our, oops, I mean Eric’s Dive Bar T-shirt arrived! I absolutely love this t-shirt club. I am not sure who is more excited when the t-shirt arrives, me or Eric.

This t-shirt is great because he gets to wear it on St. Patrick’s Day. The perfect shirt for March!

This seriously is the best gift I have ever gotten Eric. It keeps giving and giving through the year, one surprise after another and so far we have not been disappointed. If you have not done so, check out https://www.divebarshirtclub.com .

Now, I think I need to find myself a t-shirt club.

Shamrock Spritz Cookies

Our little Cissy went to “Cooking Camp” again at my moms and brought home these Shamrock Spritz Cookies for us. I grew up making spritz cookies with my mom and now our kids are doing it too. My mom bought Cissy her own spritz press for Christmas, so these beauties were made with the loving hands of our Cissy girl.

Spritz Cookies are so easy and fun to make. You can buy a spritz press @target https://www.target.com/p/wilton-preferred-cookie-press/-/A-17194659 . It comes with 12 different discs to use which will create unique designs for your cookies.

St. Patrick’s Day Antique Scale

For months and months, I had been looking for an antique scale and I finally found one. There is a Vintage Market in McKinney, Tx that my mom and I went to in the fall. They had quite a few antique scales but when I saw this one, I fell in love with it. It is sitting right behind my kitchen sink where I spend a lot of hours cleaning dishes :-). My antique scale is one of those pieces that just makes me happy! I have had a pumpkin sitting on it for the fall, a Santa for Christmas, a bird for January, a love candle in February, and now an adorable shamrock tea kettle.

I just got notice we are having another Vintage Market Days in May! If you live close, you have got to go. There are so vendors, it is so fun going through all the booths.

St. Patrick’s Day Garland and Blocks

The countdown to St. Patrick’s Day is on! I just picked up this cute garland @target for $9.99 https://www.target.com/p/tinsel-garland-green-gold-60-threshold-153/-/A-52997720.

I love how it looks under the LUCKY blocks I made.

I found some old wooden blocks in our garage from a DIY project years ago so decided to cover them with shamrock paper and used my Cricut to cut out the letters and shamrocks. I sealed the blocks with a glitter spray paint to give them an extra special touch.

I scream for….

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Ok…not me, but I will scream for some coffee or hot tea 😊.  From a young child I loved drinking hot tea and coffee. I can remember sleeping over at my grandparents’ house and getting up in the morning to have a cup of coffee with them. While growing up in my parents’ house we didn’t have a coffee maker we just had a tea kettle so that is what they drank instead of coffee. We always make our hot tea with milk and sugar. I had no idea that wasn’t the norm until I moved to Texas and people would gasp as they watched me prepare my hot tea.

tea with cream and sugar

We have two different hot beverage stations in our house. Most all of us drink some sort of hot beverage whether it be in the morning to wake us up, after school/work to keep us going or in the evening just to keep us warm.  I got this cute galvanized metal tray @ Kirklands http://www.kirklands.com/ . It makes for a cute tea and coffee station. I have our tea bags, ground coffee, and different sugars on it.

I got this beautiful wooden basket as a gift from a sweet friend of mine. She said she got it from the Magnolia Store in Waco. https://shop.magnolia.com/collections/home-new . I have everything you would need for a yummy hot chocolate right there so you can make it any way you would like.
